UAE End of Service Gratuity Calculator 2026

Calculate your UAE end of service gratuity (indemnity) based on UAE Labour Law. Supports total salary or basic salary basis. Compare with severance rules in Singapore, Hong Kong, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.

How UAE End of Service Gratuity works

Under UAE Labour Law, employees who complete at least one continuous year of service are entitled to end of service gratuity. The calculation is based on the basic salary (or total salary depending on contract): 21 days' basic salary per year for the first 5 years, and 30 days' basic salary per year for subsequent years. The total gratuity is capped at two years' total salary. No gratuity is payable if the employee resigns within the first year.

Note: Gratuity calculations can vary based on the resignation reason (unlimited vs limited contract) and who initiated the termination. This calculator provides an estimate based on standard voluntary resignation rules.
