How UAE Corporate Tax works

UAE Corporate Tax (CT) applies from June 2023 onwards. Taxable profits up to AED 375,000 are taxed at 0%. Profits exceeding this threshold are taxed at 9%. Free Zone entities that meet qualifying income requirements can benefit from 0% CT on qualifying income. There is no corporate tax on capital gains, dividends, or foreign branch profits for qualifying entities. The UAE does not impose withholding tax on dividends, interest, or royalties.
