The new State Pension (for those reaching SP age from 6 April 2016) is £221.20 per week (2025/26 rate). You need 35 qualifying NI years for the full amount and at least 10 years for any entitlement. You can make voluntary Class 3 NI contributions to fill gaps. The State Pension Age is rising to 67 by 2028 and 68 by 2046. You can defer claiming to increase your pension by about 5.8% per year.
