Portfolio Tracker

Track your investment returns, portfolio allocation, and profit/loss across all your holdings. See exactly where your money is invested and how each position is performing.

What is portfolio tracking?

Portfolio tracking means monitoring the performance of every investment you hold. By entering your holdings — ticker, shares, average cost, and current price — you get instant visibility into your total portfolio value, cost basis, unrealized gains and losses, and allocation percentages. This helps you make informed decisions about rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting, and whether to add to or reduce positions.

Key metrics explained

Market Value is what your shares are worth today (shares × current price). Cost Basis is what you paid (shares × average cost). P/L is the difference — your profit or loss in dollars and as a percentage. Allocation shows how much of your portfolio is invested in each holding, helping you maintain proper diversification. The Weighted Return gives you a single blended return percentage for your entire portfolio.

How it works: Add your holdings one by one (up to 10), enter the shares, average cost per share, and current market price. The tool automatically calculates all metrics and displays them in an interactive table with allocation and P/L charts. You can optionally add a lump sum or monthly contribution to see your total invested capital alongside your portfolio value.
